Definition:

A stakeholder is any person or organization, who can be positively or negatively impacted by, or cause an impact on the actions of the partnership / network.

Community Foundation Framework ensuring collecting local resources ( human, financial, social)   for community actions  stemming from local identity

Supporting community-led issues and initiatives  through a local Community Foundation approach that directly links local donors  and sponsors ( businesses, civic organisations, local district government and institutions) and grassroot projects in need of support. It helps overcome barriers  of trust-deficits in the given  social  context.  The approach is capable of building on the informed  knowledge of the locality and its actors and of seeking areas of interest (niches)  nobody has paid attention to before .

The goal is to create the habit of ongoing fundraising and sponsoring and community involvement which lead to  direct results ( outputs and impacts)  from  community projects . The Community Foundation tool may be succesful not only at generating financial and in-kind resources but  also in community development processes as well. Creating a transparent mechanism of donating resources and achieving results expands the social  space for trust and enhanced community involvement.  The Association „Roots and Wings” Developing Civic Competences started the project in 2009 in one district of Budapest (Ferencvaros)

An interactive online tool was developed by community developers to enhance people’s participation in their local community. One tool is to suggest potential participants to try to organize meetings with local people about issues they feel relevant enough to do something about., „The Cafehouse of Aranka” is a hungarianized version of the world cafe method, the online program aims to give key pieces of information and encouragement to such workshops.

Another part of the  interactive online learning  tool puts the potential participant into a role of those being questioned. An  online figure called Laci is asking questions making the  person reflect on his/her sense of belonging to a locality and the depth of  knowledge  of local issues  that call potential partners to action. The method is one of the tools used  to   popularize the civic form of Community Foundation.
